interFACE by Diana Meredith  - Diana Meredith’s new exhibition of mixed media digital images, interFACE, is about faces: the model, the artist, the viewer and the computer all facing one another at their common intersections.  Meredith is interested in contemporary portraiture. She looks deeply into the faces of the people who sit for her - mostly men of her baby boom generation - and sees a wry vulnerability in the folds their faces create as they age. Meredith interprets each subject through lush colours overlaid with wild colliding patterns and textures. The result is an unexpectedly sensual illumination of middle age.

Opening Reception:  Thursday, June 18, 4:30 - 7:30 pm

Artist's Talk:  Wednesday, June 24, 7 - 9 pm

Still Life Paintings in Pastel and Acrylic by Karen Leslie Hall  - This show of still life paintings, most of them small and affordable, focuses mainly on those most shapely of fruit--pears.  Karen loves to explore the way light falls on them, revealing their idiosyncrasies.  Colour and texture are also key players.
